Abstract

ABSTRACT SRI RULESTRI L.H. The Effect Role Conflict and Work Stress To Organization Commitment at Rumah Sakit Tk IV Salak Bogor. Scientific Paper, Jakarta: Concentration of Office Administration Study, Program of Economics Education, Depertement Economics Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, June 2013. The study aims to determine whether there is effect role conflict and work stress to organization commitment at Rumah Sakit Tk IV Salak Bogor and also to get a valid and reliable data or fact, to prove it. The research has been done during April 2013. The method of this research is survey. The population research was all nurse of Rumah Sakit Tk IV Salak Bogor as much as 110 nurses. And the sample used as many 40 married women nurses by using simple random sampling. Data variable Y (Organization Commitment) obtained from result of instrument and was measured using a Likert scale. Data variable X1 (Role Conflict) obtained from result of instrument and was measured using a Likert scale. And data X 2(Work Stress) obtained from result of instrument and was measured using a Likert scale. After that, tested the validity of consrtuct trough the validation process and reliability testing with Alpha Cronbach. The results of the reliability of instrument variabel variable Y (organization commitment) of 0.916, variable X1 (role conflict) of 0.904, and variable X2 ( Work Stress) of 0.911. Techniques of data analysis using SPSS 17 begins with finding the test requirements analysis test for normality using Kolmogrov Smirnov method and obtained X1 , X 2 and Y and residual is 0,200 which are all more than 0,05 then the data are normally distributed. Linearity test can be seen from the output results test of Linearity at 0,05 significance level. Linearity test result X1 (role conflict) with Y (organization commitment) of 0,000 which is less than the 0,05, it can be concluded the data X 1 (role conflict) with Y (organization commitment) has a linear relationship. Then the result of linearity test X2 (work stress) with Y (organization commitment) of 0,002 which is less than the 0,05 it can be concluded that the data X2 (work stress) with Y (organization commitment) also has a relationship linearly. Then look for the classic assumptions test the multicollinearity and heteroskedastisitas. A good regression model requires the absence of multicollinearity and heteroskedastisitas. The results obtained are the Tolerance value of 0,890 which means more than 0,1 and the variance inflation factor (VIF) 1,124 which means less than 10. Thus, it can be concluded that in the regression model didn’t occur multicollinearity. Then look for the heterokedastisitas test. Agood reggression model required the absence of heteroskedastisitas problem. Significance value X 1 (role conflict) for 0,330 > 0,05 and the significance of X 2 (work stress) for 0,311 > 0,05. Since the significance value of more than 0,05 then the regression model didn’t occurdheteroskedastisitas. Regression equation obtained is _= 105,003- 0,494X1 0,288X2 . Test the hypothesis that the F in ANOVA table produceds F coun t (21,483) > F tab (3,26) this menas that X1 (role conflict) and X 2 (work stress) simultaneously affect the Y (organization commitment). T test produce tcount of X1 (role conflict) is -4,512 and tcount of X 2 (work stress) is -2988 and ttab is a 2,028.Because t count more than ttab it can be concluded that there is a negative correlation on the role conflict with organization commitment and work stress with organization commitment. Then a coefficient of determination of test result obtained 53,7%, which means the variable Y (organization commitment) determined by X1 (role conflict) and X2 (work stress). So the conclusion of the research have shown that there is effect between role conflict to organization commitment, and also work stress to organization commitment, and then there is effect between role conflict and work stress to organization commitment of nurses Rumah Sakit Tk IV Salak, Bogor.
