Abstract

ABSTRACT ITA PUSPITA.A. Correlation Between Self-Esteem with Burnout on nurses of Jakarta Islam Hospital Cempaka Putih. Skripsi, Jakarta: Concentrations of Education Administrative Offices, Educational Studies Program in Economics, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2012. This study aims to determine the correlation between Self-Esteem with from nurses of Jakarta Islam Hospital Cempaka Putih. This research was conducted for three months starting from October until December. The method used is survey method with correlational approach. The population is nurses of Jakarta Islam Hospital Cempaka Putih. The sampling technique is simple random sampling with 123 respondents. The instrument used to obtain data on variable X (Self-Esteem ) was measured using a Likert Scale. For variable Y ( Burnout) use was measured using a Likert Scale data from Jakarta Islam Hospital Cempaka Putih. The data analysis technique starts by looking for a simple regression equation and the regression equation Y= 80,43-0,478X, while the test requirements of the analysis are the estimated regression error normality test Y on X with L obtained Liliefors test count (0,034) < L (0,079), this means that samples come from normally distributed population. Test of significance and linier regression by using the table Analysis of Variance (ANAVA) test was obtained regression equation (22,65) > F table table (3,94) which states that the regression is very significant and regressions that produce linierity test Fcount (1,26) < F (1,65) which indicates that the model uses linier regression. Correlation coefficient hypothesis tests conducted using the formula r xy table Product Moment by Pearson yield of -0,397; this means the relationship between two variables is strong. Tests of significance with t equal to -4,76 and t table value of -1,64. Because t count < t from the above study, the researcher can conclude that there is a significant relationship between the SelfEsteem with Burnout on nurses of Jakarta Islam Hospital Cempaka Putih. Test determination coefficient KD of 15,77% yield. So it is concluded that there are negative relationship between the Self-Esteem with Burnout.
