Abstract

ABSTRACT KIKI SULISTYOWATI. Relationship Between Job characteristics and job satisfaction with Employee Commitment on Employee the Main Branch of Bank OCBC NISP in Bekasi . Skripsi, Jakarta: Concentrations of Education Administrative Offices, Educational Studies Program in Economics, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2011. This study aims to determine the relationship Between Job characteristics and job satisfaction with Employee Commitment on Employee the Main Branch of Bank OCBC NISP in Bekasi. This research was conducted for two months starting from June 2011 until july 2011. The method used is survey method with kuantitatif approach. The population is employee of the Main Branch of Bank OCBC NISP in Bekasi. The sampling technique is proportionate stratified random sampling with 40 respondents. The instrument used to obtain data on variable X (Job Characteristics) and X 2 (Job satisfaction) with variable Y (Employee commitment) was measured using a Likert Scale. The data analysis technique is used path analysis starts by looking for the estimated regression error normality test Y on X and X 2 with D obtained Kolmogorov Smirnov that D count < D table 1 0,210, which X D count 0,107 X 2 D count 0,080 and Y D 0,080 this means that samples come from normally distributed population.. Correlation coefficient hypothesis tests conducted using the formula Product Moment by Pearson yield which r count 0660, r x2y 0,592 and r 0,521 this means the relationship between three variables is strong and positif because r x1x2 count >r . Tests of path analysis significance between X 1 , X 2 and Y its F count table equal 20,455 with probability (sig) = 0,000, was obtained sig < 0,05. So it is concluded that there are positif and significant relationship between Job characteristics and job satisfaction with Employee Commitment.
