Abstract

ABSTRACT Annisa Eka Riyanti. 8105133107. The Effect of Learning Motivation and Learning Manner on Student Result of X Degree at SMK YPK Kesatuan Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta: Education Program Administration Office, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2017. This study was conducted more or less for four months, starting from March 2017 until June 2017. The research method used is survey method with quantitative approach. The population in this study was 247. The sampling technique was using proportional random technique, so the research sample was 146 respondents. Data collection techniques used survey techniques, document recording and questionnaires. To get the data of learning result (Y), done by counting the average value of final exam result of semester of Introductory Economics and Business lesson. Then the data of external learning motivation (X1) and learning manner (X2) obtained from the results of questionnaire distribution to the respondents. Data analysis technique performed is test requirement analysis consisted of test of normality and test of linearity, test of classical assumption, multiple linear regression test, hypothesis test consisting of F test and T test. Based on the result of the analysis, it is known that there is an influence between the motivation of external learning and the learning result. Can be seen from the results of data analysis known that the value of t count of 6.530> t table 1.654. Then it is known there is influence between learning manner and learning result. Can be seen from the results of data analysis known that the value of t count 4,731> t table 1,654. Motivation of external learning and learning manner affect the learning outcomes, it is seen from the results of data showing F count value of 60.709> Ftable value of 3.05. The regression equation obtained is Y = 28.082 +0.346 X1 + 0,218 X2. Based on the determination coefficient test obtained value R2 0.459 which means the motivation of external learning (X1) and learning manner (X2) affect the learning outcomes (Y) of 45.9%.
