Abstract

ABSTRACT Kusuma Diah Tantri. 8105132133. The Effect Of Motivation And CompensationtoEmployees Job Satisfaction. Script, Jakarta : Program Study Economic Education,Faculty Of Economy, State University Of Jakarta. 2017. Thepurposeofthis researchwastodeterminetheeffect of motivation and compensation oemployees job satisfaction ofPT Martina Berto Tbk. This research was conducted for three months starting from April 2017 until June 2017. This research used survey method with quantitative approach. The population in this research is all employees of PT Martina Berto Tbk. The affordable population of thisresearch is 68 warehouse employees. The sample used in this research is 58 employees with 5% error rate based on tables Isaac and Michael. The trials were conducted in the production section of 30 employees. The techniqueused is Proportional Random Sampling. Data collection techniques used survey techniques, document recording and questionnaires. Technique of data analysis performed is test of analysis requirement consist of normality test and linearity test, classic assumption test, multiple regression test, hypothesis test consisting of F test and t test. Based on the result of the analysis, it is known that there is a partial influence between Motivation and Job Satisfaction. Can be seen from the data analysis results note that the value of t count of 2.458> ttable value 2,004. Then it is known there is a partial influence between Compensation and Job Satisfaction. Can be seen from the results of data analysis known that the value of t count of 3.986> ttable value 2,004. Motivation and Compensation simultaneously affect the Job Satisfaction, it is seen from the results of data showing Fhitung value of 28.993> Ftable value of 3.16. The regression equation obtainedis Y = 25,487 + 0,607X1 + 0, 679X2. Based on determination coefficient test obtained value of R2 0,513 which means Motivation (X1) and Compensation (X2) have an effect on to Job Satisfaction (Y) equal to 51,3%. Then there is the influence of Motivation and Compensation on job satisfaction on employees. The lowest indicator on Job Satisfaction is the responsibility, should the company give evaluation and trust to every task given to the employee. The lowest indicator on Compensation is insurance, should the company re-evaluate whether the insurance provided is in accordance with the work performed, aswell as the lowest indicator on Motivation is an indicator of hope, should the company understand what employees want during the work.
