Abstract

ABSTRACT RETNO WIJAYANTI. The Influence of Al-Quran Study Motivation and Parents Status Economic to The Ability to Read Al-Quran Students Class X in 12 Senior High School (SHS) Jakarta of Academic Year 2016/2017. Fakulty of Economic. State University of Jakarta. 2017. This research purpose is to find out the influence of Al-Quran study motivation and parents status economic to the ability to read Al-Quran students class X in 12 senior high school (SHS) Jakarta of academic year 2016/2017 based on data and facts are valid and reliable. The study was conducted in 12 SHS Jakarta. The methode used was survey method with quantitative approach. The collecting of the data uses the interview, the registraton of documents and the questionnaire. Total population of this study is all moeslem students class X 12 SHS in Jakarta totaling 174 students. Population affordable is moeslem students class X program sosial science 12 SHS in Jakarta totaling 82 students. The sampling technique using purposive samping is all the population affordable totaling is 82 students. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient analysis and hypothesis testing consisting of t test and F test. Based on the result of data analysis known that there was a partial influence between Al-Quran study motivation with the ability to read Al-Quran. Can be seen from the result of data analysis showed thitung amounted to 3,167 greater than t 1,990. And was a partial influence between parents status economic with the ability to read AlQuran, can be seen data analysis showed thitung tabel amounted to 2,299 greater than t 1,990. Based on F test there is simultaneosly influence between Al-Quran study motivation and parents status economic to the ability to read Al-Quran. Can be seen from data analysis result Ftabel hitung amounted 21,031 greater than F amounted 3,112. There are possitive influence and significan between Al-Quran study motivation and parents status economic to the ability to read Al-Quran with multiple correlation coefficient (R) 0,582 thus the research hypothesis is accepted, then known coefficient of determination (R2) is 0,339 which means that 33,9% of these two variables jointly affect the ability to read Al-Quran.
