Abstract

ABSTRACT MERLIAN SUWARDI. Correlation Between Work culture With Productivity Employees at PT Harapan Widyatama Pertiwi. The Scientific Paper, Jakarta: Study of Office Administration Education Program, Economics and Administration Department, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, 2008. The purpose of this research is to get a valid and reliable data or fact, to know the correlations between work culture with culture productivity employees PT Harapan Widyatama Pertiwi Jakarta. This research have been done for I months since July 2012. The method of research is survey method with correlation approach, while the data is got from instrument to employee at PT Harapan Widyatama Pertiwi. The populations research was all of production employees with total 153 employees, with 105 employees for sampling. Collecting X variable data (Work Culture) and Y variabel data (Produktivity), using likert scale, before that it has construct validity test by validation process, that is correlation coefficient valuing score with the total score and reliability test using Alpha Cronbach formula. Reliability X variable (Work Culture) is 0,912. The analysis test by finding regression equation, that is Ý = 39,23 + 0,437X. After date data normality test by using lilliefors formula and the result is L 0,076 in significant level 0,05 and L table = 0,086, so L count < L table. count = Mean that the mistake of prediction regression Y to X has normal distribution. For regression significance test and the result is, F count (30.55) > F (3,91). Showing that, it has significance test and the result is, F count (1.26) < F tabel (1.67), showing that regression is linear. The result of produc moment of correlations coefficient test, is r table = 0,478 continued by using correlations coefficient significance test with t-test. Counting result is, t count =5.53 while t table = 1,67 and so, t count > t It mean that there are significance and positive correlations between work culture and productivity. Beside that, the result of determination coefficient test is 22,88%, it means that productivity variable determined by 22,88% work culture variable. The conclusion of the research have shown that there is a positive correlations between work culture and productivity employees at PT Harapan Widyatama Pertiwi Jakarta.
