Abstract

ABSTRACT NATASYA SARINASTITI. Correlation Between Role Ambiguity With SelfEfficacy on Nurse in Regional General Hospital Bekasi. Thesis, Jakarta: Concentration of Education Administrative Offices, Educational Studies Program Economics, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta.2012 This study aims to obtain empirical datas are valid and trustworthy (reliable) about whether the relationship between role ambiguity with self-efficacy on the Regional General Hospital nurses Bekasi located in the way Scout No. 55, Bekasi. The research was carried out for 2 months from October to Desember 2011. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The sampling technique used is proportional random technique (proportional random sampling) with a sample of 127 respondents. The instrument used to obtain the data variable X (Role Ambiguity) and a variable Y (Self Efficacy) is to use a Likert scale. Techniques of data analysis in this study begins by looking for a simple regression equation and obtained the regression equation Y = 96.820.158X, while the test requirements of normality test error analysis estimates regression of Y on X obtained by test Liliefors Lcount (0.048) <Ltable (0.079), This means that the samples come from normally distributed population. Significance and linearity of regression test using Analysis of Variance table (ANAVA) Fcount obtained regression equation (5.29)> Ftable (3.92) which states the regression significant and regression linearity test result Fcount (1.41) <Ftable (1.57 ) which indicates that the regression model used is linear. Hypothesis testing correlation coefficient correlation between variables X and Y do with the formula of Pearson Product Moment generating rxy at -0.201; this means the relationship between two variables is strong. Test for significance with Tcount -2.30 and -1.645 for Ttable. Because -Tcount < -Ttable, it can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between role ambiguity with selfefficacy on Nurse in Regional General Hospital Bekasi. The coefficient of determination obtain for 4.06% which shows that the variations of self-efficacy on nurse is determined by role ambiguity. Then it can be concluded that there is a negative relationship between Role Ambiguity With Self-Efficacy on Nurse in Regional General Hospital Bekasi.
