Abstract

ABSTRACT NIVAN MANIHURUK. Correlation Between Work Family Conflict With Turnover Intention of PT Bayer Indonesia employees at Jakarta. Skripsi, Jakarta: Concentration of Office Administration Study Program of Economics Education, Department Economics Administration, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta. 2012. The purpose of this research is to get a valid and reliable data or fact, to know more the correlation between work family conflict with turnover intention of employee’s at PT Bayer Indonesia. The research healed at PT Bayer Indonesia for four months since September until December 2011. The method of research is survey method with correlation approach, and the data is got from instrument to employee at PT Bayer Indonesia. The population research was all of employees with total 91 employees, with 72 employees for sampling and used proportional random sampling. Collecting X variable data (work family conflict) and Y variable data (turnover intention), using likert scale model questionaire, before that it has construct validity test by validation process, that is correlation coefficient valuing score with the total score and reliability test using Alpha Cronbach formula. Reliability X variable ( work family conflict) is 0,845 and Y variable (turnover intention ) 0,895. The analysis test by finding regression equation, that is Y = 27,46 + 0,628X. After that data normally test by using Liliefors formula and the result is L count = 0,077 in significant level 0,05 and L = 0,104, so L count < L . It mean that the mistake of prediction regression Y to X has normal distribution. For regression significance test and the result is F table (22,74) > F (3,98). Showing that, it has significance regression. While regression linearity test, F table count (0,72) < F (1,79), showing that regression is linear. The result of product moment of correlation coefficient test, is r table = 0,495 continued by using correlations coefficient significance test with t-test. Counting result, t count = 4,77 while t table = 1,67 and so, t count > t . It means that there are significance correlations between work family conflict with employe’s turnover intention. Besides that, the result of determination coefficient test is 24,52%, it means that turnover intention variable decide to work family conflict variable. The conclusion of the research have shown that there is a positive correlation between work family conflict with turnover intention of PT Bayer Indonesia employees at Jakarta.
