Abstract

ABSTRACT NURUL CHAIRUNISA. The Influence Organizational Commitment and Motivastion Toward Job Satisfaction of Employees PT. Jico Agung in East Jakarta. Scientific Paper, Jakarta : Study Program of Economic Aducation, Concentration of Office Administration Education, Economics and Administration Department, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, January 2012. This study aims to determine whether there is the influence organizational commitment and motivation toward job satisfaction of employees PT. Jico Agung in East Jakarta. The study was conducted over four months from September to Desember 2011. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The study population was all employees of PT. Jico Agung in East Jakarta as much as 80 employees. The sample used as many as 65 employees by using stratified sampling. Data variable Y (Job Satisfaction), X 1 (Organizational Commitment) and the data variable X (Motivation) questionnaire-shaped instrument used. Prior to use, tested the validity of construct (Construct Validity) through the validation process of calculating the correlation coefficient score points with a total score and reliability testing with Alpha Cronbach. The results of the reliability of the instrument variable Y (Job Satisfaction) of 0,901, X 1 2 (Organizational Commitment) of 0.928 and X (Motivation) of 0,913. Techniques of data analysis using SPSS 17.0 begins with finding the test requirements analysis test for normality using the Kolmogorov Smirnov method and obtained values of X 1, X Y, and Residual is 0.200 which are all more than the 0.05 then the data are normally distributed. Linearity test can 2, be seen from the output results Test of Linearity at 0.05 significance level. Linearity test results X (Organizational Commitment) with Y (Job Satisfaction) of 0.001 which is less than the 0.05, it can be concluded the data X 1 1 (Organizational Commitment) with Y (Job Satisfaction) has a linear relationship. Then the results of linearity test X (Motivation) with Y (Job Satisfaction) of 0.018 which is less than the 0.05, it can be concluded the data X 2 2 (Motivation) with Y (Job Satisfaction) also has a relationship linearly. Structural equation of path analysis obtained is Y = 0,357 X 2 dan R 2 x 2 x 1 = 0,215 and X 2 = 0,156 X1 + 0,918 2 dan Rx 1 + 0,245 X 2 x = 0,156. Test the hypothesis that the F test in ANOVA table produces F count 1 8,496)> F (3.145), this means that X 1 (Organizational Commitment) and X (Motivation) simultaneously affect the Y (Job Satisfaction). T test produce t of X 1 (Organizational Commitment) is 3.137 and t count of X (Motivation) is 2.152 and t table. is 1.999. Because t count > t table, 2 it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence on the organizational commitment and motivation toward job satisfaction. The results of these studies concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between organizational commitment and motivation toward job satisfaction.
