Abstract

ABSTRACT ALI MURFI. Relation Between Burnout with Absenteeism on Employees of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Central Jakarta. Skripsi, Jakarta: Study Program of Economics Education, Concentration of Office Administration Education, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, 2012. The purpose of this research is to know more about relation between burnout with absenteeism on employees of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Central Jakarta. This research has been done during five months starting from January until May 2012. The research method use survey method with correlation approach. The research of population are employers who working in thirteen sections at PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Central Jakarta about 331 person, The reached population is three sections including Postal Mail Services, Notes and Pospay Postal Services, and Corporate Services about 115 person, respondent taken 84 sample according to level of error 5%, which use Proportional Random Sampling. The X variable data (Burnout), using Questioner of Likert Scale. The analyse test was found regression equation, that is _ = 1,33+0,832X. And then, normality data test using Liliefors formula and the result is L count = 0,087 whereas L for n= 84 in significant level 0,05 is 0,097, so L count < L table table . It means that the mistake prediction regression Y to X has normal distribution. The result of regression significance test is, F count (20,49) > F (3,96). Shows that the regression is significance. Regression linearity test, F table count (1,10) < F (1,70), showed that regression is linear. After that, the Product Moment result of correlations coefficient test, is rxy = 0,447. Then used correlations coefficient significance t test. The result of t count = 4,53 while t table = 1,67 and so, t table count > t . It means that the research is significance and positive relation between burnout and absenteeism. Based on determination coefficient test obtained the result 19,98% variation of burnout variable. The conclusion, there is a positive relation between burnout and absenteeism on employees of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Central Jakarta.
