Abstract

ABSTRACT Fajri Muhamad Firdaus. Effect parent’s level of education and level of income to 11th social sience student’s academic achievment in economics lesson in sman 59 jakarta. Concentration of Economic Education Cooperative Education Program of Economics, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, in 2015. This study aims to gain knowledge about the influence of the level of education and income levels of parents of academic achievement and achievement differences by level of education and the level of pendaparan parents. Who researched based on data and facts are valid and reliable. The study was conducted in May and July 2015 in SMA Negeri 59 Jakarta. The method used is the method used in this research is the method of exposure facto. The study population was a class XI student IIS 1, XI IIS 2, 3 IIS XI, and XI IIS 4, amounting to 139 people. Sampling using Random Sampling. Random sampling is a sampling technique by providing equal opportunities to the population to be selected as members of the sample. This study using Chi Square analysis Test for normality by Kolmogorov Smirnov test. obtained significance value of 0.066. Based on the results of a calculation chi squre academic achievement is based on the education level of parents can result Asymp.Sig Pearson Chi-Square 0.000 and contingency coefficient was 0.370. Results of the calculation results chi squre academic achievement based on the income level of parents can result Asymp.Sig Pearson Chi-Square of 0.034 and contingency coefficient was 0.283.
