Abstract

ABSTRACT Abi Subhan. Effect of Service Quality on Member Participation in Credit Unions Sehati at Pejaten Barat South Jakarta: Economic Education Program. Concentration of Economic and Cooperative Education. Department of Economics and Administration. Faculty of Economics. State University of Jakarta. 2015. This study aims to gain knowledge based on data and facts are eloquent, true, and trustworthy. The research was carried out for 4 months from August 2015 through October 2015. The method used is descriptive method with corelational approach. The population in this study are members of cooperatives Sehati. Data is the participation of a member variable Y, X is a variable data service quality, which is the primary data obtained from questionnaires shaped instrument. The data analysis begins with the search for a simple regression equation and obtained the regression equation Y = 35.868 + 0.479X. While testing the normality test requirements analysis error estimates of regression Y on X with Liliefors test obtained Lhitung = 0.068 whereas L ¬ table for n = 96 at the 0.05 significance level is 0.097. Because Lhitung <Ltabel variables X and Y are normally distributed, this means that the samples come from normally distributed population. Significance testing and regression kelinearan using Analysis of Variance table (ANOVA) F value obtained regression equation (47.79)> F (3.96) which means that the regression equation is significant that states very significant regression and regression linearity test that produces Fcount (1:31) <F table (1.64 ) which indicates that the regression model used is linear. Hypothesis testing is done with the relationship with the correlation coefficient generate rxy Product Moment formula for 0581. Then test with a significance of 6.91 and the t table 1.67. Because t> t table, it was concluded that there is a significant relationship between Quality of Service with Member Participation In Sehati member Credit Unions Central Jakarta. KD determination coefficient test result of 0.3371, this means that the variation of the variable Y (Member Participation) is affected by the variable X (Quality of Service) of 0.3371. The results of this study have demonstrated the existence of a positive and significant effect between Quality of Service with Member Participation. This shows that the better the quality of services provided, the higher the participation of members. Keywords : Service Quality and Member Participation
