Abstract

ABSTRACT DINA MADARINA D. "The Influences Of School Environment and Learning Independence To Economic Learning Outcomes Student Of Class XI In State Senior High School 53 in Jakarta". Thesis. The Education of Cooperative Economic. Economics and Administration major. Faculty of Economic. State University of Jakarta. 2014. Lecturer Advisor: Dra. Rd. Tuty Sariwulan, M.Si and Dicky Iranto, SE, M.Si. This research is purposed to analyze the influence of the school environment and learning independence to economic learning outcomes student of class XI 53 State Senior High School Jakarta. The method of this research is survey. The population in this researchare all of students of social major in class X (ten) amounts to 128 students, XI (eleven) amounts to 148 students, and XII (twelve) amounts to 142 students, the total number of students majoring in social studies at 53 State Senior High School is 418 students. While the population of inaccessibility are the second grade students in 53 State Senior High School Jakarta academic year 2013-2014, which amounts to 148 students, consisting of 4 classes. Sampling technique with saturated sampling technique. Saturation sampling is a sampling technique when all the population is used as a sample or also known as census. The technique of data analysis in this research is multiple regression analysis using SPSS 16.0. Based on the results obtained SPSS output regression equation: Y = 0,091 + 0,259X 1 + 0,235X2 and has indicated the school environment (X1) is positively and significantly affacted to economic learning outcomes (Y) with thit (5,314)> ttab (1,976). Learning independence (X2) is positively and significantly affacted to economic learning outcomes (Y) with t hit (4,632) > ttab (1,976). Based on the results of the F test at a = 5%, it got Fhit (32,216) > Ftab (3,06), it can concluded that the school environment and learning independence simultaneously affected to economic learning outcomes. The coefficient of determination (R2) value that obtained is 0,308. Thus means that 30,8% variance of learning outcomes can be explained by school environment and learning independence, while the remaining 69,2% is explained by other factors not researched.
