Abstract
Ega Gushandi.Correlation of School Climate with Teacher Job Satisfaction of Vocational High School Accounting Major in Central Jakarta. Economics Education of program study, concentrations of Accounting Education, Major of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, in June 2012. This study aims to obtain accurate data and reliable about how far the relationship between school climate with job satisfaction. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach, survey was conducted by distributing questonnaires to 48 teachers in Vocational High School Accounting Major in Center Jakarta. Research sampels was taken from teachers in Vocational High School Accounting Major in Center Jakarta as many as 48 teachers. To get the data variable X (school climate) and Y variable data (job satisfaction) shaped instrument used Likert scale questionnaire. Once the construct validity was tested through the validation process is the calculation of the correlation coefficient score points with the total score and reliability testing with Cronbach Alpha formula. The results of the reliability of the variable X (school climate) is 0.766, while the reliability of the variable Y (job satisfaction) of 0.868. Test requirements analysis is performed by finding the regression equation. The regression equation obtained was Ỳ = 52,86 + 0.44 x. Next is a test for normality of estimated regression error on X by using the test and earned liliefors Lo =0.1082 compared Ltable at 0.05 significance level at 0.1279 then the Lo < Lt. This means that the error estimate of Y on X is normally distributed. On the meaningful linearity obtained Fcount (7,15) > Ftable (4.05) this proves that the linearity is meaning. While the test result linearity Fcount (0.67) < Ftable (1.97), this means thatthe model used is linear regression. Product moment correlation coefficient test resulted rxy = 0.366. This means there is positive correlation of climate school with teacher job satisfaction in Vocational High School Accounting Major in Center Jakarta. Correlationsignificant using t – test. The results obtained are tcount of 2.674, while the ttable on dk = n-2 = 46 and significance level 0.05 is 1.68 meaning tcount> ttable indicating a significant correlation between climate school with teacher job satisfaction. From the result obtained by calculating coefficient of determination as many as 13.46% so it conclude that variable teacher job satisfaction is determined of variable school climate in prosentage 13.46%.
