Abstract
EVAN RAMADHAN. Relations Student Perceptions of Sense of Humor Teacher Student Motivation in SMK Negeri 10 Jakarta. Economics of Education program of study, concentrations of Accounting Education, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, in June 2012. This study aims to obtain accurate data and reliable about how far the relationship between students 'perceptions of teachers' sense of humor with the motivation to study at SMK Negeri 10 Jakarta. The research was conducted during the first months commencing May 2012 until June 2012. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach, whereas the data obtained from instruments that are distributed to students majoring in Accounting grade class XI AK 1 and XI AK 2 as many as 75 people. Samples were taken by 62 students from two classes. To get the data variable X (student perception of teacher sense of humor) and Y variable data (student motivation) shaped instrument used Likert scale questionnaire. Once the construct validity was tested through the validation process is the calculation of the correlation coefficient score points with the total score and reliability testing with Cronbach Alpha formula. The results of the reliability of the variable X (student perception of teacher sense of humor) of 0.786, while the reliability of the variable Y (student motivation) of 0.95. Test requirements analysis is performed by finding the regression equation. The regression equation obtained was Y = 70.711 + 0.515 X. Next is a test for normality of estimated regression error on X by using the test and earned liliefors Lo = 0.0962 compared Ltable at 0.05 significance level at 0.1130 then the Lo <Lt. This means that the error estimate of Y on X is normally distributed. To test the regression obtained keberartian Fcount (8.23) > F table (4.00) this proves that the regression mean. While the test result kelinearan Fcount (0.68) < F table (1.78), this means that the model used is linear regression. Product moment correlation coefficient test resulted rxy = 0347. Followed by a significant test coefficients using t test. The results obtained are tcount of 2.867, while the ttable on dk = n-2 = 60 and significance level 0.05 is 1.671, meaning tcount> ttable. In addition, the coefficient of determination test obtained by 12.05% which means that students 'motivation was set at 12.05% by the students' perceptions of teacher sense of humor. Conclusions of this study is that there is a relationship between student perceptions of teacher sense of humor with the students' motivation in SMK Negeri 10 Jakarta. This means that if the higher the students' perceptions of teachers' sense of humor, the higher the students'motivation.
