Jurusan Ekonomi dan Administrasi. Fakultas Ekonomi. Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This paper has a purpose to find out how the role of archives in Indonesia Trading Company PT. Knowing the obstacles that often arise in the management of archives at PT Indonesia Trading Company (Limited). The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method of data collection through literature study, interview and observation. From the results of the writing can be seen that the importance of archives has turned out a very broad range, ie both as a tool to aid human memory and is one of the material for scientific research. In a filing should be done regularly and tidy so as not to pile up the archives in the archives. Examination performed more frequently or routinely for active and inactive records are not mixed.
