Abstract
ABSTRACT ANISSIA RACHMA. Correlation Between Competiting Strategy and Selling Volume of Tempe Craftsmen at Primkopti, East Jakarta. Script, Jakarta: Concentration in Cooperation Economics Education, Educational Studies Program in Economics, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. 2012. This study aims to gain information and knowledge based on the data or the fact that valid or invalid, true and trustworthy about how much the relationship between competiting strategy and selling volume of tempe craftsmen at Primkopti, East Jakarta The research was conducted at tempe craftsmen in East Jakarta for three months from October 2011 to December 2011. This study uses a survey method with the correlational approach. Survey method with the correlational approach is a study conducted in large and small populations studied but data is data from samples taken from this population that is found relativ events, distribution and relationships between variables. The population of the study were all tempe craftsmen at Primkopti, East Jakarta, amounting to 602 craftsmen. The population of the study is affordable tempe craftsmen in East Jakarta Primkopti that have the same criteria that is, the initial capital of Rp. 193 thousand with the old business has been running 20 years, recorded amounted to 358 tempe craftsmen. The sample used for this study is 25% of the population reached as many as 90 tempe craftsmen of 358 craftsmen. The sample by using proportional random sampling technique, this technique is used with the consideration that the entire population has the same opportunities and chances to be selected and sampled. The resulting regression equation is Y = 61.45 + 0.550 X. Test requirements analysis is the normality test error of estimated regression of Y on X with the test result Liliefors Lcount < Ltable , because Lcount < Ltable then the error estimate of Y on X is normally distributed. Hypothesis testing consists of generating regression test keberartian Fcount > Ftable , meaning that the mean regression equation, regression linearity test result Fcount < Ftable , meaning that the linear regression equation and correlation coefficient calculations to determine the level of attachment relationships between variables X and Y. Keberartian test is then performed by using a correlation coefficient of the t test and the resulting tcount > ttable . The coefficient of determination obtained by 43.39% this means that 43.39% of selling volume variation is explained by the competiting strategy and the rest explained by other factors. These results prove the existence of a positive between the Competiting Strategy and Selling Volume of Craftsmen Tempe at Primkopti, East Jakarta.
