Abstract

ABSTRACT Bayu Ibnu Ramadan, 2016; The Influence of Autoctratic Leadership Style and Work Environment on Employee Job Satisfaction on functional at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Head Office in Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta: Human Resource Management Concentration, S1 Management Studies Program, Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The purpose of this research are: 1) To know how the image of an autocratic leadership style, work environment and job satisfaction experienced by employees on functional at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) head office in Jakarta, 2) To know whether the autocratic leadership style influence on job satisfaction PT. Pegadaian (Persero) head office in Jakarta, 3) To know whether the work environment influence on job satisfaction PT. Pegadaian (Persero) head office in Jakarta, 4) To know whether the autocratic leadership style and work environment affect the job satisfaction PT. Pegadaian (Persero) head office in Jakarta. The sample this research are 60 employees on PT. Pegadaian (Persero) head office in Jakarta. Research data retrieval using probability sampling method is a sampling technique that gives the opportunity or equal opportunity for each element or member of the population to be selected into the sample. This research uses descriptive and explanatory analysis. Results of regression analysis showed that there is a negative and significant impact between autocratic leadership style on job satisfaction, there is positive and significant correlation between the work environment and job satisfaction. Autocratic leadership style and working environment together have an effect on job satisfaction with the value of Fcount (28 754)> F table (3.16) and significant (0.000 <0.05). The value of adjusted R2 of 0502, or 50.2%. It shows that 50.2% of job satisfaction explained by factors autocratic leadership style and work environment, while 49.8% were influenced or explained by other variables.
