Abstract
IRMA YULIANTI. The Correlation between Self Confidence and Students’ Learning Achievements Of X Accounting At Jakarta 48 Vocational High School. Skripsi, Jakarta: Concentration In Accounting Education, Study Program of Economics Education, Department of Economics and Adminstration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, January 2012. The purpose of this research is to get a valid and reliable data or fact, to know the correlation between self confidence and Students’ Learning Achievements Of X Accounting At Jakarta 48 Vocational High School. This research has been done for two months since November 2011 until December 2011. The method of research is survey method with coorelation approach. The research population is all of student at SMK Negeri 48. The target population is students from first year of accounting that consist of 64 students The sample is taken from the error level 5% based on the table Isaac and Michael from target population which is 55 students with proportional random sampling. The data of self confidence (X Variable) uses primer data as the questionners and for learning achievements uses the secondary data as students’ average learning reports. The requirement test analysis is conducted by searching the obtained of regression equality is = 64,87 + 0,119X. After that data normality test by using liliefors’ formula significant level 0,05 and the result is Lcount (0,088) < Ltable (0,119) in. It means that estimation galat Y on X has normal distribution. Hypothesis test by testing significance regression produces Fcount (14,66)> Ftable (4,03) it means the regression equality is significance. The regression linear test produces Fcount (1,79) < Ftable (2,15) so it is concluded that regression equality is linear. Coefficient correlation test Product Moment produces as rxy =0,465. Next the coefficient correlation significance test by using ttest. The obtained result is tcount (3,83) > ttabel (1,68). It means that there are significance correlation between X and Y variable. The calculation of determination coefficient produces rxy2 = 0,2167 it shows 21,67% the result of learning achievement is decided by self confidence. The conclution of this research is there is positive correlation between self confidence and student’s learning achievement Of X Accounting At Jakarta 48 Vocational High School. Self confidence is one of study factor which must be concerned and developed to increase students’ learning achievement.
