Abstract
PUSPA AFRIDA OKTAVIA, Correlation Between Student Perceptions of Using Cooperative Learning type STAD and Learning Motivation of Student Grade XI at 45 Senior High School Jakarta, Scipt, Jakarta : Economic Education Study Programme, Majoring Economic and Administration Department, Faculty of Economy, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, June 2012. The study aims to obtain empirical data and the fact that legitimate, valid and reliable regarding the relationship between student perceptions of using cooperative learning type STAD and learning motivation of student. This research was conducted over three months starting from April 2012 until June 2012. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach. With a population of 78 affordable and taken a sample of 65persons. Sampling was based on the chart to determine the number of samples from a particular population with a level of 5% error. The sampling technique in this study is proportional random sampling. For those variables used to capture data questionnaire likert scale model for student perceptions of using cooperative learning type STAD (X variables) and learning motivation (Y variables). Before the instruments used, the construct validity for the variable X and Y was tested. The result, from 36 point statement variable X and Variabel Y that has been validated as much as 27 grains statement declared invalid the remaining 9 points drop. Result of reliability by using Cronbach Alpha formula for the variabel X = 0,881 and for the variabel Y = 0,7907. Simple linear regression equation Y=36,73 + 0,61X analysis of test requirement to test the normality of the estimated error of regression of Y on X shows that the error in the estimated regression of Y on X have normal distribution. Thi is evidence by calculations showing, that Lvalue (0,0515) < L table (0,1098) using the Test Liliefors in significant level (a) =0,05. In hypothesis testing, regression test of significance and linearity using the Table Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). From the results obtained by the regression significance test F value = (11,01) > F table (3,99) which states that the regression is significant. From regression linearity test results obtained F value =(-1,39) < F table = (1,80) which indicates that the model used is linear regression. From the result of regression, it can be concluded that there was significant relation between student perceptions of using cooperative learning type STAD and learning motivation of student of students grade XI at 45 senior high school of Jakarta.
