Abstract
AJI SAPUTRA JAYA, The Correlation Between Lifestyle And Purchase Decision On Smartphone Blackberry At Students Of S1 Management Program, Faculty Of Economic UNJ. Skripsi, Jakarta. Study Program Of Commerce Education, Departement of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, 2012 This study aimed at obtaining empirical data and facts which are authentic,valid, and reliable on The Correlation Between Lifestyle And Purchase Decision On Smartphone Blackberry At Students Of S1 Management Program, Faculty Of Economic UNJ. This research was conducted at S1 Management Program, Faculty Of Economic UNJ , East Jakarta, for four months, from september to december 2011. The method used was survey method with the correlational approach. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The population in this study was students of S1 Management program, faculty of economic UNJ, whereas the possible populations were students of S1 Management Program 2011 about 34 students. The tchnique which used in gathering the sample was simple random sampling about 32 students. The instrumen used to obtain the data of variable X (Lifestyle) and Y (Purchase Decision), scale shaped instrument used to vary the form of a questionnaire. variable X (Lifestyle) with 26 point statements and Y (Purchase Decision with 31 point statemens). Content validity test was conducted before using the instruments, and the results obtained for variable X was 23 points and 3 points drop invalid. Continued with the reliability test by using formula of Alpha Cronbrach, and the results obtained for variable X was 0,918. Thus, the reliability of the variable X can be said to be high. The results of validity test obtained for variable Y was 25 ponts and 6 points drop invalid. Continued with the reliability test by using formula of Alpha Cronbrach, and the results obtained for variable Y was 0,9. Thus, the reliability of the variable Y can be said to be high. Analysis of condition test, which is normality error test for regression approximates of X on Y with lilifors test, result in Lcount = 0.1131, while L table is 0.1566, because L count < L table then the normality error test of Y on X distributed normal.the resulting regression equation is Ŷ = 40,94 + 0.60X. Significance regression results in F count > F table is 37,44 > 4,17, it is mean that the regression equation is significance. Testing linearity of regression produces F count < F table is 2,48 < 3,41, thus that the equation is linear. Results of hypothesis test which pearson product momenth show that rxy = 0.744, then significance of product moment corretional test using the ttest produced tcount= 6,103 > ttable=1.70. it can be concluded that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.744 is significance. The coefficient of determination was 55.39% which indicated that 55.39% variation of Purchase Decision is determined by Lifestyle.
