Abstract
ABSTRACT Mirza Azhari, 2014; influence of firm size on firm value : study on acquisition activity of go public firm’s. Skripsi: Jakarta, Finance Management Concentration, Management Study Program, Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of firm size on firm value and the factors that moderate the effect of firm size on firm value. The study was conducted on 35 samples of company acquisitions listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study used fixed effect Model approach. Based on the statistical results showed that: 1) the firm size have a negative significant effect on firm value with p-value 0.0692. 2) agency cost moderate the influence of firm size on firm value with p-value 0.0267. 3) diversification moderate the influence of firm size on firm value with p-value 0.0472. 4) growth rate moderate the influence of firm size on firm value with p-value 0.0264.
