Abstract
ABSTRACT Nur Rahmatika, 2011; Influence of Leadership and Organizational Culture on Employee Job Satisfaction at the Coordinating Ministry of Economic Affairs. Skripsi, Jakarta: Concentration in Human Resource Management, Management Studies Program, Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The purpose of this study are: 1) To know the description of the leadership, organizational culture, and employee job satisfaction at the Coordinating Ministry of Economic Affairs. 2) To test empirically the influence of leadership on employee job satisfaction at the Coordinating Ministry of Economic Affairs. 3) To test empirically the influence of organizational culture on employee job satisfaction at the Coordinating Ministry of Economic Affairs. 4) To test empirically the influence of leadership and organizational culture together to employee job satisfaction at the Coordinating Ministry of Economic Affairs. The analysis conducted in this study is a simple linear analysis and linear multiple. Research carried out by the method of stratified random sampling of 40 employees at the work unit Minister Secretariat Division, while the techniques of data collection was done by distributing questionnaires, which are then processed using SPSS 16.0. T test results on the variables of leadership for 4.464, with a significance value of 0.000. That is, the leadership has a significant influence on job satisfaction. T test results on the variables of organizational culture for 4.263, with a significance value of 0.000. That is, organizational culture has a significant influence on job satisfaction. F test results for 13.101, with a significance value of 0.000. That is, leadership and organizational culture together have a significant effect on job satisfaction. The resulting R value of 0.415 or 41.5%. This figure explains that the leadership and organizational culture influence on job satisfaction 41.5%.
