Abstract

DEDE ANDRIAN: The Correlation Between Self Efficacy With Autonomous Learning At Students On State Vocational High School 10, Jakarta. Studies Program Commerce Education, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, July 2012. The research was conducted at State Vocational High School 10 Jakarta, for five months from February 2012 until June 2012. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The population in this study are students of State Vocational High School 10 Jakarta totaling 781 students. The possible populations are students of Grade XI Department of Marketing is 77 students. Samples taken as many as 65 students based on Isaac and Michael table. To capture data from these two variables are used questionnaire Likert scale models for self efficacy (variable X) and autonomous learning (Variable Y). Before the instrument is used tested the validity for both variables. For variable X, from 40 grains statement after statement validated there are 8 items that drop, while meeting the criteria or a valid statement consists of 32 items. For variable Y, of 40 grains of validated statement after statement contained 9 items that drop, while meeting the criteria or invalid items comprised 31 statements. Reliability calculation of both variables using Cronbach alpha formula. The results of the X variable reliability of 0,91266 and the reliability of variable Y at 0,905. These results prove that the instrument is reliable. The resulting regression equation is Ŷ = 36,28 + 0,688 X. Test requirements analysis of the normality test error of estimated regression of Y on X to produce Lcount liliefors test = 0,0936, while the Ltable for n = 65 at 0.05 significant level is 0,1099. Because the Lcount < Ltable then an error estimate of Y on X is normally distributed. Testing linearity of regression produces Fcalculated <Ftable is 0,93 < 1,85, so it was concluded that the linear equation regreasi. From test significance regression produces Fcount > Ftable, which is 58,32 > 4,00, meaning that the regression equation is significant. Correlation coefficient of Pearson Product Moment generating rxy = 0,693, then performed the test significance correlation coefficient using the t test and the resulting tcount = 7,63 and Ttable = 1,67. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0,693 is significant. The coefficient of determination obtained for 48,02% which shows that 48,02% of the variation of autonomous learning is determined by the self efficacy. The results of calculations conclude that there is a positive relationship between self efficacy with autonomous learning at students on State Vocational High School 10 Jakarta.
