Abstract

FITRI ANDRIANI. Correlation Between Incentive With the Employee Performance at AJB Bumiputera 1912 in Jakarta. Study Program of Commercial Education, Major of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. This study aims to obtain data / facts right (authentic, true, valid) and trustworthy (reliable) about how far Correlation Between Incentive With the Employee Performance at AJB Bumiputera 1912 in Jakarta. The study was conducted over four months from March to June 2012. The method used is survey method approach to correlation. The population in this study were all employees of AJB Bumiputera 1912. Population is the inaccessibility of employees of AJB Bumiputera 1912 dept SDM, div Dana and Property amounted to 40 employees. Then, based on the determination of the sample table of Isaac and Michael amount of sample from a population with a sampling error of 5% is 36 employees. This sampling technique using simple random sampling technique. To capture the data variable X (Insentive) and variable Y (Employee Performance), is used questionnaire shaped instrument, which is distributed to the employees of the SDM, divition Dana and Property, after it tested the validity browse through the validation process is the calculation of the correlation coefficient score points with the total score and reliability testing with Cronbach Alpha formula. The results of the reliability of the variable X (Insentive) of 0913 and reliability of the variable Y (Employee Performance) of 0958 . Test requirements analysis is performed by finding that the regression equation was Y = 73.74 + 038 X. Next is a test for normality of estimated regression error on X by using the test and earned Liliefors Lhitung = Ltabel in 00939 compared to the 0.05 level by 01477. the Lo <Lt. This means that the error estimate of Y on X is normally distributed. Obtained regression test keberartian Fcalculted (4:31)> Ftable (4:13), this proves that the regression mean. While the linearity test result Fcalculated 1.12 <Ftable 2.33, this means that used linear regression models. Product moment correlation coefficient rxy = 0339. Then proceed to test the significance of the coefficient by using t test. The results obtained are tcount 2104, whereas a Ttable on dk = n - 2 = 36-2 = 34 and the 0.05 level is 1.69, meaning tcount> Ttable. The calculation of the coefficient of determination yield rxy2 = 0.3392 = 0.1152. This shows that 11.52% variation in employee performance is determined by incentive. Conclusions of this study is that there is a positive Correlation Between Incentive With the Employee Performance at AJB Bumiputera 1912 in Jakarta.
