Abstract
ABSTRACT JOKO SUPRIYONO. Relationship between Workload and Job Satisfaction on Employee PT Shasco, Depok, Indonesia. Thesis, Jakarta. Educational Studies Program Administration office, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, 2014. The aim of this research is to find the possibility a positive correlation between the Workload with Job Satisfaction on Employee PT Shasco. research carried out for 5 months, counted from the middle of January 2014 until June 2014. This research used survey methods by correlation approach.. The population used in this study were all employees of PT Shasco. While the population is terjangkaunya employees on the production of 80 employees. Sampling techniques in this study were randomized technique proportionally From the total population of affordable samples of 65 employees based on the determination of the sample table of Isaac and Michael. Equation of the simple linear regression give the formula of regression Y = 134,54 - 0,5056 X. Test analysis conditional test proved the validation on variable Y to variable is normal distributed.. This was shown by calculations that show that L count (0,0551) <L (0.1099) using the standard test Liliefors significant (a) = 0.05.Test of significant and linier regression test using Table Analasis variance (ANOVA). From the results obtained the regression significant test that F count = 30,96 > F tabel table 4,00 stating the regression significant. From the experimental results obtained regression linear F 1,82. This indicates that F count < F table count = 1,80 and F indicating that the regression model used is linear. The correlation coefficient is counted by Product Moment formula by Pearson indicates r ‒0,574. While the results of correlation coefficient significant test indicates t xy count = -5,564 and t = -1.669. Because the result shows –t count <-t table tabel the research indicates there is a significant correlation between Workload and Job Satisfaction at PT Shasco, Depok. Calculation of coefficient of determination showed 32,95% variation of the variable Y is determined by the variable X. The conclusion is that there is a negative relationship between Workload and Job Satisfaction on Employee PT Shasco. This means that the higher the workload, the lower the satisfaction.
