## Abstract

This study aimed to find the accurate data/facts (valid, correct, true) and reliable about the relation between incentive and teacher’s performance in SMK Yadika 13 Tambun. This study was conducted in 2 months, since the beginning of May 216 until July 2016. This study’s method is survey method with correlational approach. The population for this study is all of the teachers in SMK Yadika 13 Tambun, 60 teachers in total. This study used non-probability sampling for its sampling technique which is purposive that consist of 30 teacher who have been teaching for 2 years. To gather the Variable X data (incentive), the researcher used the instrument in form of quitionnaire that was given to the teachers in SMK Yadika 13 Tambun. After that the content was being validity tested through validation that is calculation of correlation coefficient of item score and reliability test by using Alpha Cronbach formula whereas the Variable Y (performance) used as secondary data in the form of Standard of Employee’s Performance (SKP) in SMK Yadika 13 Tambun. The result of Variable X reliability is 0,893. The data analysis technique began with finding the regression equation that is Y = 73,80 + 0,16 X. The requirement analysis test is testing the estimated regression errors Y on X by using liliefors and the result is L count 0,1094 compared with L table = on significance level 0,05 as much as 0,161 then Lo<Lt. It means the estimated error Y on X was distributed normally. Meanwhile the linearity test produced F count = (1,55) < Ftable =(3,87), this menas the regression model that were used is linear. The result of significance of regression test is Fcount = (28,00) > F= (4,23), this proved that the regression does matter. The correlation coefficient test of product moment produced rxy table in the amount of 0,559. Next was coefficient significance test by using t test. The result is tcount = (3,566), whereas t on dk = n-2 = 30-2 =28 with significance level 0,05 is 1,7. It means tcount > t table. The conclusion isthere is a positive relation between incentive and teacher’s performance. The calculation of determination of coefficient produced r2 = 0,559 = 0,3123.This shows that 31.23% of Performance Variable is determined by the Incentive.The conclusion of this study is there is a positive relation between incentive and teacher’s performance in SMK Yadika 13 Tambun.
