Abstract
ABSTRACT ADI PURNOMO. Correlation between Age with Organization Commitment of PT. Sapta Sari Tama Employee in Jakarta. Skripsi, Jakarta: Study Program of Economics Education, Concentration of Office Administration Education, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. June 2015. The purpose of this research is to get a valid and reliable data or fact, to know the positive correlation between age with Organization Commitment of PT. Sapta Sari Tama Employee in Jakarta. This research have been done for two month since May 2015 until June 2015. The method of research is survey method with correlation approach, while the data is got from instrument to employee of PT. Sapta Sari Tama. The populations research consist of all employee of PT. Sapta Sari Tama with total 56 employees, 48 employees for sampling with. To encompass data from X variable about age that was get through data that was given by company that was measured using ordinal scale. To Y variable about Organizatiion Commitment using questionnaire. Before using, Y variable has validity test by validation process that is correlation coefficient valuing score with the total score and reliability test using Alpha Cronbach formula. Reliability of the instrument Y variable (job satisfaction) is 0,885. The hypothesis trial with uses formula Z distribution through Gamma Transformation. That was get Z count (2,030) > Z table (1,645), so H that was rejected. This suggests that there is a positive correlation between age with organization commitment at employee. From the calculation G = 0,559 included in the level of positive correlation is medium. The conclusion of the research, there is a positive correlation between age with Organization Commitment of PT.
