Abstract

ABSTRACT ANIS WAHYUNI. Correlation Between Social Support with Self Efficacy Of Student At Study Program Of Economic Education University Of Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta: Education Program Economics, Concentration Education Office Administration. Department of Economics and Administrative. Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, University of Jakarta, June 2015. This study aims to determine whether there is a correlation between the social support) with the self efficacy at Student Study Program Of Economic Education University Of Jakarta. This research was carried out for 3 months from the month of February 2015 until April 2015. The method used is a survey method with correlation approach. The population of this study were all student of Study Program of Economic Education University Of Jakarta is 278 who compile thesis, and affordable population of this study is 203 people from all 2011 generation. The sample used by table Isaac and Michael of 5% is 127 people. Sample used by using proportional random technique (proportional random sampling). To collect data both study variables, instruments used for variable X (social support) and the variable Y (self efficacy) is in the form of a questionnaire. Before use, test the construct validity (Construct Validity) through the validation process is the calculation of the correlation coefficient score of grains with a total score and test reliability with Cronbach alpha formula. The results of the reliability of the instrument variable X (social support) of 0.898 and variable Y (self efficacy) 0f 0,722. Test requirements analysis is done by looking at the regression equation is Y = 15,00+ 0,167 X. Normality test results Liliefors produce Lhitung = 0,062 and Ltabel = 0.076 at significance level (a) = 0,05 for the number of samples (n) 127. Because Lhitung = (0,62) < Ltabel = (0,076), the variables X and Y are normally distributed. Hypothesis testing regression significance test produces Fhitung = (53, 18)> F table = (3,92) which means that a significant regression equation. Linearity test regression produces Fhitung = 0,75 and F table = 1,58 so Fhitung <F table it can be concluded that the model is a linear regression equation. Test the product moment correlation coefficient = -0,560 produces rhitung. Furthermore, the correlation coefficient significance test using t-test, T = (7,29) < Ttable = 1,667) The results of these studies conclude that there is a positive correlation between the social support of the student self efficacy. With a coefficient of determination test or the determining test results obtained by 29,85% self efficacy variable (Y) is determined by the social support (X).
