Abstract

ABSTRACT EKA FEBRIANI The Influence Job Tenure and Work Motivation In The Performance Of Teachers Smk Taruna Bhakti Cikarang. Script, Jakarta: Concentration Education Office Administration, Economics of Education Studies Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, June 2015. This study aims to determine whether there is influence between tenure and motivation to work on the performance of teachers at SMK Bhakti Taruna. This research was conducted for three months starting in June 2015. The method used was survey method with approach of causality. The study population was a teacher at SMK Bhakti Taruna as many as 55 people. The samples used were 48 teachers using random techniques (simple random sampling). For the third data capture research variables, instrument used for variable X1 (Tenure) in the form of secondary data and variable X2 (Work Motivation) questionnaire form while the variable Y (Performance Master) is the data taken from the school. Based on the results of multiple regression jointly influence of tenure and motivation to work on teacher performance coefficient of determination to see R2sebesar 0.458 which means that the influence of the independent variable working time and motivation to variable depedent (teacher performance) of 45.8%. While the remaining 54.2% influenced or explained by other variables not examined. From the results of hypothesis testing both free variable that period of employment and work motivation simultaneously have an impact on teacher performance seen from Fhitung (19.015)> F table (3.21). Then in partial tenure has tcount 3,984 and motivation has tcount 3.667 to 1.68 ttabel where separately stated significance (t count> t table) means that each independent variable is the period of employment and work motivation have a significant positive effect on the dependent variable , namely the performance of teachers.
