Abstract

ABSTRACT LATIFAH FITRIYANI. 8105118040. Effects of Work Environment and Work Motivation on Job Satisfaction On Employee PT. Panen Lastari Internusa. Paper, Jakarta: Study Program Office Administration, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, University of Jakarta. 2015. This study aims to determine whether there is influence between work environment and work motivation on job satisfaction On Employee PT. Panen Lestari Internusa. This research was carried out for 3 months starting from the month of February to April 2015. The method used is a survey method with the approach of correlational. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Panen Lestari Internusa, amounting to 124 people and researchers took samples used as many as 89 employees by using proportional random sampling technique. The instruments used to obtain data on the variables X1 (work environment), X (work motivation), and Y (job satisfaction) was measured using a questionnaire with Likert scale. The data is then tested for validity and reliability. Techniques of data analysis using SPSS 18.0 begins with finding the test requirements analysis test for normality using the Kolmogorov Smirnov method and obtained values of X1, X , Y, and Residual is 0,200 which are all more than the 0,05 then the data are normally distributed. Linearity test can be seen from the output results Test of Linearity at 0,05 significance level. Linearity test results X 2 (work environment) with Y (job satisfaction) of 0,000 which is less than the 0,05, it can be concluded the data X 1 1 (work environment) with Y (job satisfaction) has a linear relationship. Then the results of linearity test X (work motivation) with Y (job satisfaction) of 0,000 which is less than the 0,05, it can be concluded the data X 2 (work motivation) with Y (job satisfaction) has a linear relationship. Structural equation of path analysis obtained is Y = 0,334 X 1 + 0,423 X 2 + 0,776 e = 0,398 and X 2 = 0,378 X 1 + 0,926 e 1 and R²x 2 x = 0,143. Test the hypothesis that the F test in ANOVA table produces F Count 1 (28,384) > F (3,11), this means that X 1 (work environment) and X 2 table (work motivation) simultaneously affect the Y (job satisfaction). T test produce t (work motivation) is 4,682 and t count of X 1 tabel (work environment) is 3,695 and t is 1,66. Because t count > t , it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence on the work environment and work motivation on job satisfaction. The results of these studies concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between work environment and work motivation on job satisfaction.
