Abstract

BIMA OKTAVIANTORO. The Influence of Human Development Index, Unemployment, and Governmental Expenditure on Gross Regional Domestic Product in South Kalimantan Province. Economic Education Cooperative. Faculty of Economics. State University of Jakarta. 2017. This study aims to analyze the influence of human development index, unemployment, and government spending on gross regional domestic product in South Kalimantan. The research data used is time series data from 2010-2015 and cross section data 13 regencies / cities in South Kalimantan Province with ex post facto approach and using Random Effect method. The data presented is obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of South Kalimantan Province. Data analysis technique used in this research is panel data regression analysis. The result of the research shows that the variable of human development index (X1) has a positive and significant effect on gross regional domestic product (Y), variable of unemployment (X2) has negative and insignificant effect on gross regional domestic product (Y), and variable of government expenditure (X3) has a positive and significant effect on gross regional domestic product (Y). Keywords: human development index, unemployment, government expenditure, Gross Regional Domestic Product.
