Abstract

ABSTRACT MULYANA ASSIDIQ. Influence of Organizational Culture and Motivation on Employee Performance At PT Lion Metal Work Tbk. Thesis, Jakarta: Concentration Education Office Administration, Economics of Education Studies Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, June 2015. This study aims to determine whether there is influence between organizational culture and motivation on the performance of the employees of PT. Lion Metal Work Tbk. This research was conducted for two months from February to April 2015. The research method used survey method with approach of causality. This research population is all employees of PT. Metal Work Tbk as many as 123 people. The sample used in this study were 95 people by using proportional random sampling technique. Data variable Y (Performance) is a secondary data obtained from the company. Data X1 (Cultural Organization) and the data X2 (motivation) is the primary data with the instrument used was a questionnaire using a Likert scale model. Data were analyzed using SPSS 17.0, the results of the F test in the ANOVA table generating Fhitung (27.211)> F table (3.10), this means that X1 and X2 simultaneously affect the test Y. t produce thitung X1 (5.535) ttable (1 , 66), because t count> t table, it can be concluded that there are positive influence between organizational culture on performance. Then thitung X2 (3,520) ttable (1.66), Because thitung> ttable, it can be concluded that there are positive influence between job satisfaction on the performance of the employee. Then the coefficient determination test result 0.372 or 37.2%, the variable Y is determined by X1 and X2. The R2 value of 0.372, which means that the variable performance can be explained by the variable Organisational Culture and Motivation of 37.2% and the remaining 62.8% is influenced by other variables not examined.
