Abstract
ABSTRACT TRI HANDAYANI, IMPLEMENTATION APPROACH SAVI (SOMATIC, AUDITORY, VISUAL AND INTELLECTUAL) TO IMPROVE STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES CLASS X (TEN) AP SUBJECT TO TAKE OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURE IN SMK SILIWANGI NORTH JAKARTA. (Classroom Action Research) Thesis, Jakarta: Office of Administrative Education Studies Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University, January 2015. This study aims to determine student learning outcomes through the implementation of the approach Savi (somatic, auditory, visual and intellectual) on subjects Perform Administrative Procedures. With the implementation of this approach SAVI, expected to help students understand, recognize, and explain the subject matter of administration procedures. Which influenced student learning outcomes. This study was conducted by a Class Action Research (CAR), this research to develop the learning process through the implementation of SAVI approach the results will be used by students and teachers. In practice, the research carried out for 3 months, starting from April to June 2014. This research was conducted repeatedly by using 3 stages in the implementation cycle SAVI approach. The results of the study can be seen from the value of student learning outcomes obtained after students follow the learning process with the application of SAVI approach. This classroom action research subject is class X (ten), amounting to 32 students, Office Administration Department at SMK Siliwangi North Jakarta. The results of this study show that implementation of SAVI learning approach has a positive influence on the improvement of student learning outcomes. The successful implementation of SAVI approach can be achieved due to the cooperation between researchers and students. Based on the data obtained, the results of student learning in the class average of 71.32 first cycle while in the second cycle at 75.40 an increase of 4.08% while the third cycle of the acquisition value of student learning outcomes class average of 80, 21 increased by 4.81%. Therefore, the application of SAVI approach is expected to be implemented by teachers (other than subject teachers Perform Administrative Procedure) as changes in the learning process that can help students to enthusiasm in learning because SAVI approach combines all the members of the body of somatic (move), auditory (do), visual (seeing), and intellectual (solve the problem). Thus increasing student learning outcomes in the learning process.
