## Abstract

AYU PUTRI PURWANDANI. Correlation Between School Environments with Motivation in Learning of Student Grade 10th Accounting at State Vocational School 22 East Jakarta. Concentration of Accounting Education, Program Study of Economy Education, Economic and Administration Department, Economic Faculty, UNJ, Mei 2012. The researchs purpose is to get a valid and reliable data or fact, how significant relation between school environments with motivation in learning of student grade 10th accounting at State Vacational School 22 East Jakarta. The period of research was 1,5 months. The research was done since end of April 2012 until May 2012. The research used survey methods by correlational approach. The population of data all of were students, while the reached population were student of grade 10th accounting. The reached population were 80 students.. the sampling of the research were 65 students. The sampling technique was the proportional random sampling technique. To get data from two variable, researcher using likert scale model for school environments (X) and students motivation in learning (Y). For variable X, from 32 statements which has validated , 8 statements dropped and 24 valid. For variable Y, from 28 statements which has validated, 6 statements dropped and 22 valid. The calculation of both variable is using Alpha Cronbach Method and variable X reliability is 0,854 and variable Y is 0,859. This proof that the instruments were valid and reliable. The analysis test by finding regression equation, that is Ŷ = 31,789+0,598X . After that data normality test by using Liliefors formula and the result is Lcount = 0,074 in significant level 0,05 and Ltable = 0,1098, so Lcount <Ltable , mean that the mistake of prediction regression Y to X has normal distribution. For regression significance test using analysis of varians (ANAVA) table get result Fcount = 50,93 > F table = 4,00 showing that, it has significance regression. While regression linearity test, Fcount = 1,02 < Ftable = 1,84, showing that regressionis linear. That result of product moment of correlation coefficient test is rxy = 0,67 continued by using correlation coefficient significance test with t test. Counting result is, t count = 4,55 while table on dk = n-2 = 63 and significance level is 1,67 and so tcount > t table. From this counting, it has significant relation between X and Y. Beside that, the result of determination coefficient test is 0,4489 mean that Y variable determinated by 44,89% X variable. This research concluded there is positive correlation between School Environments (X) and Students Motivation in Learning (Y).
