Abstract
RIMARYONA: Correlation between Learning Tools with Students Learning Achievement in SMK Negeri 18 Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta. Commerce Education Study Program, Economic and Administration Departement, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta, June 2012. The aim of this research is to obtain empirical data, valid and reliable fact concerning or not there is correlation between emotional intelligence with Students Learning Achievement in SMK Negeri 18 Jakarta. This research conducted of Marketing Class, SMK Negeri 18 Jakarta. During 4 months counted from March 2012 until June 2012. The research used survey method with approach of correlation. Technique intake of used sample that is simple random sampling technique. The population were Students of XI grade of Marketing Class amount 61 students. From the reached population amount reached the taken as sample amount 51 students. Data analysis by using sample of population table Isaac & Michael with sampling error 5%. To get data from one of the variables, researcher using likert scale model for Learning Tools (X variable). For variable X from 38 statements which had validated, 32 statements were valid and 6 statements were drop. The calculation of the variables X reliability using Alpha Cronbach method and variable X reliability is 0.911. This proof that the instruments were valid and reliable. Analysis of condition test, which is normality error test for regression approximates of X on Y with liliefors test, results in Lcount = 0.1122, and Ltable for n=51 with significance of 0.05 is 0.1241, because Lcount < Ltable then normality error test is normal distribution. The equation for linear regression is Ŷ=58.65+0.17X. Significance regression result in Fcount > Ftable is 21.55 > 4.04, its mean that the regression equation is significant. And linearity regression test yield, in Fcount < Ftable is 0.51 < 1.93 that can be interpreted that the regression equation is linear. Result of hypothesis test with Pearson’s Product Moment shows that rxy = 0.553, then significance of product moment correlation is tested with ttest which yields tcount= 4.58 and ttable = 1.68. It can be result that product moment correlation rxy = 0.553 is significsnt. Coefficient of determined obtained equal to 30.58%, its mean that 30.58% variations of Learning Achievement by Learning Tools. Result of the calculation concludes that there is positive correlation between Learning Tools with Students Learning Achievement in class XI SMK Negeri 18 Jakarta.
