Abstract

ALFIYAH YUNIARTI: The Relationship Between Work Environment With Employee’s Work Spirit Of PT. Serasi Shipping Indonesia In Jakarta. Thesis. Jakarta : Study Program of Commerce Education, Departement of Economic and Administration, Faculty of Economic, State University Of Jakarta, July 2013. This study aimed to get empirical data, and trustworthy (reliable) about whether the relationships between the working environment with work spirit employee. This research was conducted at the PT. Serasi Shipping Indonesia in Jakarta, for eight months starting from october 2012 until May 2013. The method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The sampling technique used in simple random sampling. The population in this employees of PT. Serasi Shipping Indonesia in Jakarta, and the inaccessibility population are the Departement Back Room Support Function, wich amounts to 58 employee. Sampling taken as many as 51 employee. To gather data from both variable questionnaire used Likert Scale models for the working environment (X variable) and work spirit employee (Y variable). Test requirements analysis, namely normality test error estimate of Y on X regression test produces L liliefors count = 0.099, while the L table for n = 51 in significant level 0.05 is 0.124. because the count L < L table the estimated error of Y on X have normal distribution. The resulting regression equation was Ŷ = 64.63 + 0.602X. From the significance test of regression to produce calculated F > F table, which is 15.14 > 4.04, meaning that the regression equation is significant. Testing linerity of regression produce calculated F < F table in which one, 1.23 < 1.94, this concluded that the linear equation regreasi. Product Moment correlation coefficient of Pearson produce rxy = 0.486, then mde a significance test of correlation coefficient by using t test and the resulting count = 3.86 and test table 1.68. thus we can conclude that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.486 is significant. The coefficient of determination is obtained equal to 0.2360 which showa that 23.60 % variation of the work spirit employee is determined by the working environment . The calculation result concludes there is a positive The Relationship Between Work Environment With Employee’s Work Spirit Of PT. Serasi Shipping Indonesia In Jakarta.
