Abstract

SHIFA NUR DIANI. 8135145149. Correlation Between the Learning Style and Learning Independence on English Learning Result of Student SMK Negeri 51 Jakarta. Script, Jakarta: Faculty of Economics, State University Of Jakarta. 2018. This study aims to obtain empirical data and facts that are appropriate, valid, and reliable and about the Correlation Between the Learning Style and Learning Independence on English Learning Result of Student SMK Negeri 51 Jakarta. This research was held at SMK Negeri 51 Jakarta. For four months starting from March 2018 to June 2018. The research method is survey with correlational approach, the population are students of class X SMK Negeri 51 Jakarta. Used simple random technique sampling of 131 students. Data analysis technique used is, first test requirement analysis consisted of test of normality and test of lineararitas. Both multiple linear regression tests. The three hypothesis test that contains t test and F test. Fourth multiple correlation test. The last one is analysis of coefficient of determination. thitung on learning style variable equal 8,069 and thitung on Learning Independence that is equal to 3,887 where ttabel equal to 1,65685, this means there is significant partial correlation of Learning Style and Learning Independence. Because thitung > ttable. While for test F, founf the result Fcount of 78,759 >Ftable value 3,072. Where can be drawn the conclusion that there influence simultaneously between variabel Learning Style and Learning Indenpence to Learning Result. Because Fcount>Ftable, Multiple regression equation obtained result Ŷ =25,515 + 0,416 X1 + 0,202 X2. R2 coefficient of determination value of 0,552. This means that Learning Style (X1) and Learning Independence (X2) variables affect Learning Result (Y) by 55,2%. Keywords: Learning Result, Learning Style, Learning Independence
