Abstract
AYU PUSPITA PURBORANI. ANALYSIS THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE AMOUNT OF LABOR AND EXCHANGE RATES WITH THE GDP THE MINING SECTOR IN INDONESIA. Economics Education, Faculty of Economics, State University, in 2018 This study aims to determine the relationship in the future between the amount of labor and the rupiah exchange rate with the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the mining sector in Indonesia in 2000-2016. This study uses time series data from 2000-2016 obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and Bank Indonesia. This study uses VAR (Vector Autoregression) model analysis. The results showed that there is a causality relationship between the exchange rate and the GDP of the Mining sector, there is a relationship of 4 years back and the relationship of the next 10 years. There is a negative correlation between the exchange rate and mining GDP and a positive correlation between labor and mining GDP. In addition, the amount of labor and the exchange rate of the rupiah is contrasting with GDP Mining. However, in the long run both can stabilize GDP Mining.
