Abstract

Ferdinand Haryadinata, 8105142672, The Effect of Training and Work Motivation on Employee Performance at PT. Suzuki Indomobil Motor Plant Cakung in Jakarta. Script, Jakarta: Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2018. This study aims to determine whether there is influence of training and work motivation on the performance of employees of PT. Suzuki Indomobil Motor Plant Cakung. This study took four months, starting from January 2018 to April 2018. This research was conducted by using survey method. The population reached in this study amounted to 114 employees. Based on the table Isaac and Michael the number of samples in this study as many as 84 respondents. The technique of selecting respondents using proportional random sampling, that is using proportional random method. For data processing, researchers processed the questionnaire by using Likert scale. Employee Performance Variables (Y) and Training variables (X1) are secondary data obtained from the company. Another case with the variable Motivation Work (X2) is the primary data in the form of research questionnaires. Data analysis technique used is, first test requirement analysis consisted of test of normality and test of linearity. The second test classical assumption tests consist of multicolinearity test and heteroscedasticity test. The third multiple linear regression tests. Fourth hypothesis test that contains t test and F test. The last calculation of coefficient of determination t calculation for training variables 4,373 and t count for motivation variable of work 3,629, which is tteable equal to 1,666. It means there is significant partial influence of Training and Work Motivation variables on Employee Performance because thitung> ttabel. While Test F has a value Fcount of 23.106 which Ftabel has a value of 3.10 where Fcount> Ftable. Thus it can be concluded that there is influence simultaneously between variables Training and Work Motivation on Employee Performance. Multiple regression equation obtained result Ẏ = 38,715 + 0,250X1 + 0,232X2. The coefficient value of determination R2 is 0.363. The value shows the variables Training (X1) and Work Motivation (X2) affect Employee Performance (Y) as much as 36.3%. Keywords: Employee Performance, Training, Work Motivation
