Abstract

Rizky Abqari, 8105145067, Influence Compensation and Work Motivation on Performance at Employees PT ASABRI (Persero). Thesis, Jakarta: Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University. 2018. This research aims to find out whether there is an influence of compensation and work motivation on the performance of PT ASABRI (Persero) employees. This research was conducted for one month in July 2018. This study used quantitative methods with a correlational approach. The survey method is used to obtain primary data for variable X1 (compensation) and variable X2 (work motivation). Affordable population of this study amounted to ± 280 employees. Based on Isaac & Michael's table, the number of samples in this study were 197 employees. The sample technique used is Proportional Sampling technique, which uses proportional random method. For data processing, researchers processed questionnaires using a Likert scale. Performance variable (Y) is secondary data obtained from the company. As for the compensation variable (X1) and work motivation (X2) using primary data in the form of research questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using the SPSS versei 24.0 program began by looking for test requirements analysis using Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test with a performance significance of 0.200, compensation of 0.200, and work motivation of 0.200, then using linearity test with a significance value on linearity compensation of 0.000 , significance value on work motivation linearity of 0.004, classical assumption test by using heterokedatisitas test in Spearman 'rho test with Sig value. (2-tailed) compensation variable 0.906 and work motivation variable 0.949. Because the value is more than 0.05 there is no heterokedastisity, then using path analysis, and hypothesis test using F test and t test. The conclusion in this study is the compensation and motivation of work have a positive and significant impact on the performance of employees of PT ASABRI (Persero) Keywords: Performance, Compensation, Work Motivation
