Abstract

NATALIA. 8105142724. The Influence Of Work Environment and Compensation To Work Motivation of Employee at PT Pertiwi Agung Pharmaceutical in West Cikarang, West Java. Skripsi. Jakarta: Study Program of Economics Education, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta. July 2018 This study aims to determine whether there is influence of work environment and compensation to work motivation of employee at PT. Pertiwi Agung Pharmaceutical in West Cikarang. This research was conducted for six months from January to June 2018. The method used is survey method with correlational approach. The population in this research were all employees at PT. Pertiwi Agung Pharmaceutical in West Cikarang. Population affordability are all employees of the production division amounted to 182 employees. The sample used in this research was 119 employees using cluster random sampling technique. All the datas including variable Y (Work Motivation), variable X1 (Work Environment), and variable X2 (Compensation) are primary data, using questionnaires instrument with Likert Scale models. Before using, its construct validity was tested through a validation process that is calculation of correlation coefficient score of grains with a total score and reliability tests with Cronbach Alpha formula. The result of X1 reliability is 0,9, X2 reliability result is 0,862 and Y variable reliability result is 0,886. The results prove that the instrument is reliable to use. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 22 began with finding test requirements analysis is the normality test Kolmogorov Smirnov Z methods and can value X1 amounted to 0,102, X2 result was 0,099, and variable Y with 0,097. Which were greater than 0,05 than normal distribution. From the multicollinearity test, the result of Tolerance is 0,950, the value was greater than 0,1 and VIF is 1,053 less than 10, so it can be concluded that there was no problem of its multicollinearity. Next, the heteroscedasticity test with Spearman’s rho test which resulted X1 significance value is 0,680 and X2 0,737 Because the significance value is greater than 0,05, then there is no problem with its heteroscedasticity. Then regression equation obtained was Y = 41,976 + 0,219X1 + 0,422 X2. The hypothesis test of F test in the ANOVA tables result was Farithmatic 17,195 > Ftable 3,07. T test produces taritmathic of work environment 2,370 > ttable 1,65810.; tarithmatic of compensation 4,694 > ttable 1,65810. Then the coefficient of determination test resulted 22,9%, it means that 77,1.% influenced by other factors not examined. It is concluded that there are significant positive and significant correlation between work environment and compensation to work motivation of employee at PT.
