Abstract

SALMA AZAHRA RAMADHANI, 8105145135, The Effect of Financial Compensation and Job Satisfaction on Performance at PT. Yuqa Sejahtera in Tangerang. Thesis, Jakarta: Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2018. This study aims to determine whether there is influence between financial compensation and job satisfaction on the performance of existing employees of PT. Yuqa Sejahtera in Tangerang. The study was conducted for three months, started from March to May 2018. The method used in this research is survey method. The amount of population in this study is 119. Using the Isaac and Michael tables with a 5% error rate, then it took 89 samples of the employees. The technique used for sampling in this research is proportional random sampling technique. This data collection uses secondary data on variable Y (Performance), while variable data X1 (Financial Compensation) and X2 (Job Satisfaction) is primary data by using questionnaire or using Liker scale model. Data analysis techniques are used normality test, Linearity, second test is a classical assumption test consisting of multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test. The third is uses multiple regression analysis regression test. Fourth is uses hypothesis test that is F test and t test. The last calculation is the coefficient of determination analysis. thitung that is in the financial compensation variable is 5.585 and thitung for job satisfaction variable is 2.088. Where ttabel is 1.666. It shows that thitung > ttabel which means there is a partial significant influence between the variable financial compensation and job satisfaction on performance. Furthermore for the test F is obtained Fhitung for 41,241 and Ftabel for 3,10. which means Fhitung > Ftabel. It can be concluded that there is simultaneous influence between the variable of financial compensation and job satisfaction on performance. Then in the multiple regression equation obtained Ŷ = 13,091 + 0, 662X1 + 0,239X2. on the coefficient of determination value obtained R2 of 0.490. Which means the variables X1 (Financial Compensation) and X2 (Job Satisfaction) affect Y (Performance) as much as 49%. While the remaining 51% influenced by variables that are not researched. Which means the variables X1 (Financial Compensation) and X2 (Job Satisfaction) affect Y (Performance) as much as 49%. While the remaining 51% influenced by variables that are not researched.
