Abstract
UMNIATUL AZIZAH. 8105145125. The Effect of Quality of Work Life and Motivation on Performance at PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) in Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta: Education Program Administration Office, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2018. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between quality of work life and motivation on performance at employees of PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk in Jakarta. This research was conducted from March until July 2018. This research used survey method with quantitative approach. The population in this study are all employees of PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk totaling 422 employees. The affordable population is employees of PT. Jasa Marga (Human Capital Development Division, Human Capital Services Division, General Affairs Division, Jasa Marga Unit Learning Unit and Comunity Development Program Unit). The sampling technique used random proportional sampling technique (proportional random sampling), so that obtained the number of research samples as much as 107 respondents. Y variable data (Performance) is secondary data, while data of variable X1 (Quality of Work Life) and X2 (Motivation) is primary data. Data collection techniques for primary data using questionnaires while for secondary data obtained from the company. The data analysis technique is done by using analysis test which consist of normality test and linearity test, classical assumption test consist of multicolinearity test and heteroscedasticity test, multiple regression equation test, hypothesis test consisting of F test and t test and coefficient of determination. Based on the result of the analysis, it is known that there is a partial influence between quality of work life and performance. Can be seen from the results of data analysis known that the value of tcount 5,791> ttabel 1.983. Then it is known there is a partial influence between motivation and performance. Can be seen from the results of data analysis known that the value of tcount 5.970> ttabel 1.983. Quality of work life and motivation simultaneously affect the performance, it can be seen from the results of data showing Fcount 41,697> Ftabel 3.08. With the multiple regression equation obtained is Ŷ = 76,321 + 0,249X1 + 0,240X2. Based on coefficient determination test obtained value of R2 equal to 0,445 which mean quality of work life (X1) and motivation (X2) influence to performance (Y) equal to 44,5%. Keywords: Performance, Motivation and Quality of Work Life
