Abstract
YONIS AKHIRMAN. Relationship Between Role Ambiguity with Job Satisfaction of employees at PT Telkomsel Atrium mulia Sorth Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta: Concentrations of Education Tata Niaga, Educational Study Program Economics, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, University of Jakarta.2014 This study aims to obtain empirical datas are valid, and trustworthy (reliable) about whether the relationship between role ambiguity with job satisfaction of employees at PT. Telkomsel Atrium Mulia Sorth Jakarta. This research was conducted in the past four months from March to June 2010. The method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling (random simple sampling). The population in this study were all employees at PT. Telkomsel. Based on initial surveys, and population are 302 peoples. Then, based on samples from the population tables, as many as 72 people were taken samples with a sampling error of 5%. To gather datas from both varaibel used questionnaire likert scale model for role ambiguity (Variable X) and job satisfaction (Variable Y).Before this instrument is used to test the validity of these two variables. For variable X, the 35 statements have been validated statement after that drop 10 points, while meeting the criteria or a valid statement consists of 25 statements.For variable Y, 36 statements have validated the statement after that drop eight points, while valid criteria or requirements comprised at 28 statements. Test requirements analysis, namely normality test error estimate of Y on X regression test produces liliefors L count = 0.046, while the L table for n = 72 in significant level 0. 05 is 0.104.cause the L count < L table the estimated error of Y on X have normal distribution. The resulting regression equation was Y = 118.67 - 0.296X. From the significance test of regression produces F count > F table, there are 4.02 > 3.98, that meaning is the regression equation is significant. Testing linearity of regression produce calculated F count < F table, there are 2.33 < 1.79, this concluded equation regreasi is linear .Product Moment correlation coefficient of Pearson produce rxy = -0.233, then made a significance test of correlation coefficient by using T test and the resulting T count = - 2.00 and T table = -1.67. Thus we can conclude that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.233 are significant.The coefficient of determination obtained for 5.43% which shows that the variations of job satisfaction of employees is determined by role ambiguity. The calculation result concludes there is a negative relationship between role ambiguity with job satisfaction of employees PT. Telkomsel Atrium Mulia.
