Abstract
ABSTRACT One business that is engaged in the wood-based industry manufktur namely PT. Ace Oldfields is a company that manages pine wood into finished materials in the form of a brush. PT Ace Oldfileds products include ordinary paint brush (wall paint or oil paint), and its main production material is in the form of professional brushes, paint rollers, wire brushes, shoe brushes, and others. In order to increase growth in the field of industry, PT. Ace Oldfields business prospects of considerable potential to create added value because it has the advantage one of them in the product diversification so that various types of support can be received PT. Ace Oldfields. However, internal factors such as efficiency in the utilization of existing resources into things that need to be considered in deciding the development of the company as well as external factors on the economic conditions that make competition in the manufacturing industry increasingly stringent. So as to penetrate the tight competition. PT. Ace Oldfields must have a strong business plan and an alternative form of reformulation business strategy so that the company can know about the ins and outs of the business. This research is a descriptive study, data collection techniques used are questionnaires and interviews with a company official. The data were collected and analyzed using Porter's Five Forces model analysis, matrix IFE and EFE matrix at the input stage, then the matching phase matrix SWOT / TOWS, as well as on the stage of the decision to use a matrix QSPM. From the research, it is known that the market penetration strategy is the right strategy and suitable to be run by PT. Ace Oldfields.
