Abstract

FAUZIA RAKHMA. Fauzia Rakhma. Relationship Between Learning Styles Students With Learning Achievement In Marketing Class XI in SMK Negri 48 Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta: Commerce Education Program. Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. June 2013. This study aims to get the data / facts right (authentic, true, valid) and trustworthy (reliable) on the extent to which the relationship between learning styles and the learning achievement in grade XI Marketing at SMK Negri 48 Jakarta. The research was conducted for 6 months from the month of February until June 2012. The method used was a survey method approach to correlation. The population in this study were students of class XI Marketing at SMK Negri 48 Jakarta, which amounted to 60 students with study sample is 51 students with a level calculations of sampling error of 5%. This sampling technique using simple random sampling technique. To gather data variable X (Learning Styles), shaped instrument used a Likert scale and Y variables (Student Achievement) using secondary data based on the average value rapot. Prior to use the instrument for a variable X used the construct validity through the validation process is the calculation of the coefficient calculation with the item score and the total test score reliability and Cronbach alpha formula. Results of reliability variable X (Learning Styles) of 0.940. Test requirements analysis is done by looking at the regression equation can be is y = 55.63 + 0.15 X. Next is the estimated regression error normality test Y on X using Liliefors test and obtained Lhitung = 0.0848 compared with Ltabel at 0.05 significance level of 0.1240. then Lo <Lt. This means that the estimated error Y on X is normally distributed. While the linearity test result Fcount (-0.72) <F table (1.97), this means linear regression models were used. Test the significance of regression F value (5.26)> F (4:04), this proves that the mean regression. Product moment correlation coefficient test result of 0.320 rxy. Then proceed with the coefficient significance test using the t test. The result is t (2,362), while ttable on df = n - 2 = 51-2 = 49 and 0.05 significance level is 1.68, meaning t> t table. Calculating the coefficient of determination produce rxy2 = 0.3202 = 0.1022. This shows that 10.22% of the variation is determined by student achievement student learning styles. The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive relationship between learning styles and the learning achievement in grade XI Marketing at SMKN 48 Jakarta.
