Abstract
ANTON DWI SETYO, Relationship Between Job Satisfaction to Employee Retention At PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk, in Jakarta. Commerce Education Studies Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, June 2014. This study aims to determine wheter there is a relationship between job satisfaction and employee retention at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Tbk. This research was conducted for 3 months starting from March 2014 until June 2014. Research method is a survey method with the correlational approach. The population in this study were employees of PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia. Inaccessibility is a division employee population policy and development of human resources as much as 40 employees. The sampling technique used is simple random technique as much as 36 employees. By using tables Isaac with 5% sampling error. The resulting regression equation is Y = 20.66 +0.85 X Test requirements analysis is the normality test on the estimated regression error Y over X with Liliefors generate test Lhitung = 0.093, while for n = 36 Ltabel at the 0.05 significance level is 0.146 . Because Lhitung> Ltabel the estimation error Y over X is normally distributed. Testing linearity of regression produces Fhitung = 0.64, whereas while Ftabel = 2.26. This shows that the F value <F table, which means that the linear regression concluded that the linear regression equation. Test the significance of regression yield of F> F, ie 9.52> 4.13 means significant regression equation. The correlation coefficient of Pearson Product Moment generating rxy = 0.468, then test the significance of the correlation coefficient using the t test and the result of t = 3.085> table = 1.68. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.468 is significant. The coefficient of determination obtained for coefficient of determination r xy = (0.468) 2 = 0.2187 means of 21.87%, retention is determined by job satisfaction.
