Abstract

NOVIE TRI LESTARI. The Correlation Between Product Attribute With Customer Loyalty Honda Motorcycle In Community District 002 Jatinegara Kaum, Pulogadung, East Jakarta. Study Program of Commerce Education, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, June 2014. The research was conducted at Community District 002 Jatinegara Kaum, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, for four months from March 2014 until June 2014. The research methodused is survey method with the correlational approach. Population in this research is all of Community District 002 Jatinegara Kaum, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, whereas the possible populations who employees of RT 007, amounting to 40 people. The technique which is used in gathering the sample was simple random sampling about 30 peoples. To capture data from these two variables are used questionnaire Likert scale models for Product Attribute (variable X) and Customer Loyalty (Variable Y). Before the instrument is used tested the validity for both variables. For variable X, from 36 points statement after statement validated there are 6 points that drop invalid, while meeting the criteria or a valid statement consists of 30 points. For variable Y, From 28 points statement after statement validated contained 3 points that drop invalid, while meeting the criteria or invalid items comprised 25 statements. Reliability calculation of both variables using Cronbach Alpha formula. The results of the X variable reliability of 0.846 and the reliability of variable Y at 0.875. These results prove that the instrument is reliable. The resulting regression equationis Ŷ=46.99+0.43X. Testrequirements analysis of the normality tester or of estimated regression of Y on X to produce Lcount liliefors test=0,0893, while the Ltable for n= 40 at 0.05 significant levelis 0.140. Because the Lcount<Ltable then an error estimate of Y on X is normally distributed. Testing linearity of regression produces Fcalculated<Ftable is 0,86<2.42, so it was concluded that the linear equation regression. From test significance regression produces Fcount>Ftable, which is 15.64>4.10, meaning that the regression equationis significant. Correlation coefficient of Pearson Product Moment generating rxy=0,540, then performed the test significance correlation coefficient using the t testandthe resulting tcount=3,955 and Ttable=1,68. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient rxy=0.540 is significant. The coefficient of determination obtained for 29,16% which shows that 29,16% of the variation of customer loyalty determined by the product attribute.
